Kingdoms
-
Kingdoms is very similar in nature to the popular Factions plugin. However, Kingdoms has much more to do! With Kingdoms you can claim land, build a base, and invade other Kingdoms’ land for resources. -
Covers these commands:
- ⪼ /k create [KingdomName]
- ⪼ /k disband
To create a Kingdom, use /k create [KingdomName]. We currently do not have a rename command!
If you wish to delete your Kingdom, do /k disbandResource Points
Unlike Factions, which used 'Power' to claim land, everything in Kingdoms is done with Resource Points (RP). You gain RP by trading in Resources (items) to your Nexus. You gain 1 RP for every 5 items traded in, with the exception of diamonds and emeralds (1:1). You can also gain RP by invading and claiming other Kingdom Nexuses. RP is also used to determine Top Kingdoms!
-
Covers these commands:
- ⪼ /k claim
- ⪼ /k unclaim
- ⪼ /k nexus
- ⪼ /k sethome
- ⪼ /k home
Kingdom claims are 16x16 blocks and extend from bedrock to sky level. Only Kingdom members can edit claimed land. However, Kingdom land is still susceptible to cannons, so beware! To claim land, use /k claim. When you first create a Kingdom, you're granted one free 16x16 claim. Otherwise, it costs 5 RP to claim. Land can be claimed in the Overworld and Nether, but is disabled in the End. We have raised the land claiming cap in Kingdoms so you're less limited by the number of members your Kingdom has. This means it's possible for individual players to create magnificent Kingdoms all by themselves! Currently, each person can claim 25 chunks of land. Keep in mind it will still be difficult to defend large plots of land! If you wish to claim more land, you'll need to invite more members to your Kingdom. You can raise your Kingdom member cap through your Nexus.
-
Covers these commands:
- ⪼ /k nexus
Once you have claimed land, you need to place your Nexus. This is the hub of your operations and should be protected at all costs!
To place your Nexus, do /k nexus and click on a block. You cannot remove a Nexus, but you can move it to another location using the command again. In the Nexus you can:- ⪼ Convert items into RP
- ⪼ Increase Nexus Chest size (Store valuable items in your Nexus.)
- ⪼ Purchase Structures (one structure per chunk.), land buffs, extra upgrades, and turrets and mines
-
Covers these commands:
- ⪼ /k invite [PlayerName]
- ⪼ /k accept
- ⪼ /k decline
To invite new members to your Kingdom, do /k invite [PlayerName]. To accept or decline an invite to a Kingdom, do /k accept or /k decline. Note that there is a maximum number of members you can have in your Kingdom. You can upgrade this in your Nexus.
-
Covers these commands:
- ⪼ /k invade
To begin an invasion, stand on a claim and do /k invade. Doing so will spawn the Kingdom's Champion. It costs 10 RP to invade a chunk of land. You will need to use /k invade on each chunk of land you invade. Upon invading, the defending Kingdom will receive a notification and have the option to teleport to the invasion site to defend. If you invade Nexus land, you will spawn a stronger version of the Kingdom's Champion. Kill the Champion to claim the land. If the champion kills you, you don't gain the land and you die as normal.
Champion
The Champion is an NPC mob that spawns to defend your Kingdom from invasions. It is an excellent tool to defend your land while you're offline. If you're online, it's recommended to teleport to the site of the invasion to assist killing the invaders. It is crucial that you upgrade your Champion so it's more effective against invaders. You can access upgrades through the Nexus. Recommended upgrades include Drag, Mock, and Champion speed. Do not underestimate the power of a Champion as a well upgraded Champion is a deadly foe!
-
Turrets and Mines can be purchased from the Nexus. Turrets must be placed on top of fences and will target mobs, non-allies, and non-members. Mines are a one-time use defense mechanism and can only be triggered by non-member and non-ally players.
Power Cells
Power Cells can also be purchased from the Nexus and are placed in the same manner as Nexuses. Invaders cannot invade a chunk next to a chunk that contains a Power Cell, so they must invade the Power Cell land first. However, Power Cell land doesn't prevent invading other Power Cell land. So don't make all of your land into Power Cells!
Protected Chests
A long requested function in Factions is now a built in feature of Kingdoms! You can protect chests in your Kingdom from other members of your Kingdom. Place a sign on your chest as follows: Note that Kingdom Leaders can access all Kingdom chests! If land is invaded or unclaimed, protected chests will become unprotected.

Ascensions
-
Ascensions is our custom class system. Players join one of 6 classes, each with 4 tiers. Classes grant unique spells, McMMO skills, and kits. Quick Links
-
Upon joining LucentCraft, you will need to select one of the 6 classes by talking to the Class Master NPC. Right-click the Class Master to speak to him, then left-click the menu icons and follow the menu prompts to join the Class. Don't worry if you're unsure which class to pick, you can always switch later!
Upgrading and Changing Classes
To upgrade or change classes, speak to the respective Class Master in the Class Guild region of Spawn. Tiers II/III require in-game money to upgrade and Tier IV requires Mastery Levels. You can freely switch between Tier I of classes. If you switch from tier II of a class, however, you will lose progress in that Class. Once you reach Tier III of a class, you can begin ascending another class and earning Mastery Levels needed for Tier IV classes.
